Sweet Watermelon

Juicy, refreshing, and unmistakably watermelon. Sweet Watermelon Oolong combines smooth, floral Ti Kuan Yin oolong with the ripe, juicy character of watermelon and bright accents of papaya, plum, and safflower petals. The result is a wonderfully refreshing tea with a naturally fruity personality and a delicate floral finish.

Inspired by a hot summer afternoon at Sauble Beach on Ontario's Lake Huron, this tea was created with one thing in mind: refreshment. After enjoying a perfectly ripe slice of watermelon on a warm summer day, Metropolitan Tea's Master Blender set out to capture that same thirst-quenching experience in a cup.

A carefully selected Ti Kuan Yin from China's Fujian Province became the foundation. Its light, floral character provides the perfect canvas for the juicy watermelon flavor, while papaya, plum, and colorful safflower petals add extra layers of fruitiness and visual appeal.

The finished tea brews to a bright, sparkling pale-green cup with golden-yellow highlights. It is light, fruity, and exceptionally refreshing, making it a wonderful choice for warm afternoons, summer gatherings, or anytime you want a little taste of summer in your teacup.
