Welcome to Southport Spices, a locally owned specialty shop in the heart of historic Southport, North Carolina. We created Southport Spices for people who love to cook, enjoy discovering something new, and believe that sometimes a small jar of spice or a good cup of tea can make an ordinary day a little more interesting.

Our shelves are filled with spices, herbs, teas, salts, blends, and pantry favorites, along with gifts and useful little treasures for the kitchen and home. We carry familiar favorites alongside ingredients you may have never tried before, giving you plenty of reasons to browse, ask questions, smell, taste, and discover.

Tea has a special place here, with a collection of more than 55 teas ranging from traditional favorites to distinctive blends and herbal infusions. We also create Southport-inspired blends that are uniquely ours.

But Southport Spices is about more than what is on the shelves. We want our shop to be a place where people can wander, learn, share ideas, and find inspiration. We offer classes, tastings, gatherings, and other events that bring people together around food, tea, gardening, books, and the simple pleasures of everyday life.
